WYS-NZ, a Kiwi exchange programme organisation, works with overseas partners so that Kiwi students can study abroad and live with a family in another country
WYS-NZ also places students from overseas in New Zealand high schools and host families.
APPLICATION FORM
The purpose of our programmes is to promote cultural exchange and international understanding through personal interaction between high school students.
Exchange students gain cultural and educational advantages from their experiences.
World Youth Service Society New Zealand (WYS-NZ) is a member of New Zealand Council of Intercultural Exchanges and is approved and authorised by the New Zealand Ministry of Education and Immigration New Zealand. |

In Japan
Our Japanese partner WYS-Japan is centred in Tokyo, Japan. WYS-NZ is part of a network sending students to Japan and receiving Japanese students into New Zealand.
In Europe and the Americas – Explorius.
Through the Explorius network, centred in Sweden, WYS-NZ exchangees gain access to programmes in:
- Sweden,
- Norway,
- Denmark,
- Finland,
- Germany,
- France,
- Belgium (French speaking),
- Italy,
- Argentina,
- United States of America.
Going on a high school exchange takes courage and expands viewpoints. Many exchangees go on to become leaders in their chosen fields of endeavour. Strong international friendships are often retained. |
